Hours of Operation
Held on the below Saturday’s between the hours of 7:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon unless stated otherwise below. Not open on holiday weekend’s.
Residency
If vehicle tag is not issued from Lamar County, You must provide another means of proof of residency.
Costs
At this time the Lamar County Board of Supervisors is proud to provide this service at NO COST to residents of the County. The program is funded at least partially through two grants from the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality Solid Waste Division.

No Dumping or Use Outside of Event Hours
These locations are not open daily for drop-off use and are not to be considered locations where items can be dropped any day of the week. Anyone caught dumping items at these locations on any day other than the day of the drop-off during the hours of the event may be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the laws that would apply. Approval from the County Road Manager or designee must be achieved prior to any deviations from the scheduled times. You may contact the County Road Manager at 601-794-8504
