JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: Receptionist/Community Centers Clerk
SUMMARY: Provides general office support through a variety of clerical tasks and is responsible for managing community center bookings, along with other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answer multiple incoming phone lines and transfer inquiries to the requested person or appropriate department, if necessary, take messages.
- Greet and assist the public to include directing to the appropriate court or department.
- Manage and monitor the booking of community centers through software applications.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, payments, and other relevant information for community centers.
- Provide back-up support to the B.O.S. administrative staff when needed.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
- Basic computers skills, including data entry and word processing.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required.
- Must have general office experience which is acceptable to the hiring authority.
