JOB TITLE: Crew Member (Tire Division)
DEPARTMENT: Central Maintenance
REPORTS TO: Central Maintenance Supervisor
SALARY: $13.00 hourly
SUMMARY: Assist with the tire division with repairs of flat tires for county road equipment. Assist in the repairs and maintenance of automotive equipment at the shop and other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform routine maintenance.
- Maintains shop equipment and tools.
- Responsible for keeping the shop clean and orderly.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a valid MS Driver License.
- Must physically be able to perform these duties.
- Must be able to work Monday through Thursday, 6:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Basic mechanical assistant aptitude.
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Strong work ethic and dependability.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
