JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE:            Mosquito Fogger Crew Chief

DEPARTMENT:   Sanitation

REPORTS TO:       Director of Sanitation

SALARY:                 $13.00 hourly

SUMMARY: Over seeing daily operations of mosquito control

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following but may be assigned other related duties.

• Check all trucks daily including fuel levels
• Check all small engines including fuel levels
• Mix chemicals and refill all foggers daily
• Run nightly routes
• Place larvicide in different locations as needed
• Over see nightly mosquito control drivers and report any issues to sanitation director
• In off season, work with Sanitation crew to maintain daily operations

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have a valid Driver License;
• Must be able to work Monday – Thursday;
• Must be available to work overtime, certain holidays, and Fridays when needed.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred;
