JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE:            Part-time Mosquito Fogger

DEPARTMENT:   Sanitation

REPORTS TO:       Director

SALARY:                 $13.00 hourly

SUMMARY: Drives a truck to distribute mosquito repellent on a designated route.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following but may be assigned other related duties.

• Operates a small gas engine with crank rope;
• Drives on designated route to distribute pesticide.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be physically able to climb in and out of the back of a small truck;
• Must have the ability to read and follow directions from a map;
• Must have a valid MS Driver License;
• Must be able to drive at night;
• Must be able to work Monday through Thursday 6:30 pm – 11:30 pm (weather permitting)

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred;
• Previous experience in the operation of small gas engines which is acceptable to the hiring authority.
