The County Surveyor provides surveying services at the direction of the courts by resolving disputed property lines or estate partitions. He also serves any needs of the other county departments as well as individual land owners. His office is operated on a fee base, which is negotiated at the time of service.
Services provided by the County Surveyor include property surveys, route surveys for utilities and roads, easement and right-of-way surveys, topographic surveys, and flood elevation certificates.
